A Natural Approach to Better Health
What is Reiki? How to choose a Reiki practitioner or teacher?
alleviate stress and pain
By reducing stress and facilitating deep relaxation, Reiki is a restorative experience which helps you feel better. It can give you a boost physically, emotionally and mentally. Reiki also brings relief to those suffering from chronic conditions and supports their recovery. Each Reiki healing session is tailored to your current needs.
“I can lie here forever,” my clients often remark after a Reiki treatment. When I see them smiling and visibly relaxed, I feel much gratitude for my practice.
safe and non-intrusive
Research in North America, Europe and Australia has shown that Reiki is a balancing and empowering modality which assists in many situations. If you have a medical condition, Reiki is completely safe and non-intrusive. It does not interfere with any treatment or interact with any medication. By reducing stress and facilitating deep relaxation, Reiki helps you feel better and supports your medical treatment.

Don't take our word for it
“I feel totally at peace and relaxed after each of your Reiki healing sessions.”
“I felt alive and more in my own body. Refreshing, calming and loving, exactly what I needed.”
“What I experienced was something very powerful and beautiful.”
“I left feeling weight had been lifted off my shoulders and a clearer mind.”
“Can only recommend it highly to everyone!”
“It has facilitated a process of great physical, mental and spiritual transformation for me this year.”
“It actually feels like some of the scar tissue on my neck has broken up a bit! I am convinced the Reiki has helped. Thanks!”
“The pain I got for my tendinitis (at the rear) and bursitis (at the front of my hip) is relieved when I receive Reiki. I don’t need to take any painkillers between Reiki treatments.”
“I had a breast cancer removed … what I experienced was a sensation of the skin being stitched … Since then I have had no need for, and therefore stopped, my pain relief.”
What happens during a Reiki treatment?
You will be resting on a massage table. If you prefer, you can also receive Reiki seated on a chair. You will lie on your back, either with support or in a modified position to suit your comfort. The treatment will begin at your head, followed by the torso and limbs, down to your feet. If you are able to rest on your stomach (I have supports to ensure your comfort), I will also lay hands on your back.
Does it hurt?
Not one bit. Reiki is a therapy based on light touch. I place my hands lightly in a series of hand positions. Your comfort is my priority. There is no manipulation of bones.
Is Reiki used in medical institutions?
Yes. Organizations such as the Cancer Wellness Centre and SolarisCare Foundation Cancer Support Centre at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital are offering Reiki treatments to cancer patients.
Can I also learn Reiki myself?
